Veeners

 

Dental veneers are thin porcelain (e.max) or composite sheets that adhere to the visible face of the tooth to improve its aesthetic appearance.The objective of dental veneers besides to improve the functionality of the teeth, it improves aesthetically each vestibular face of each tooth, in order to give a natural and more harmonious appearance to the patient’s smile.

Crowns

 

The dental crown is a restoration that is superimposed on the tooth in order to restore its functionality and appearance. The main objective of these restorations is to completely cover the tooth, thus returning its natural and functional anatomy.These crowns are tailored to each patient in order to obtain an exact replica of the shape and color of the anterior tooth.

 

Crowns over implants

 

These crowns are placed after the placement of the dental implant. Its purpose is to return both the tooth and the function in areas where the patient lost his tooth.

 

Fixed dental bridges

 

This bridge is the traditional one that has been used for decades, it is supported on two teeth neighboring the edentulous space, used as pillars; in order that between these teeth the missing teeth are placed, also called “pontics”. In this way we solve and return lost teeth in a conventional way, and the patient returns to feeling his mouth naturally.

 

Implant supported dental bridges

 

In this type of treatment, two titanium implants are placed at both ends, to be used as prosthetic abutments. In this way, the bridge is supported on these implants, and thus we return the patient’s missing teeth.

 

Dentures

 

These dentures are the ones we all know. They are also called complete plates. In this way, all missing teeth are replaced in both the maxilla and mandible. These dentures are removable that are supported on the patient’s gingival mucosa. The material that replaces the gum is pink acrylic and the teeth can be acrylic or resin-based teeth. This treatment is very accessible to the patient and is performed in a very short period.

 

Partial dentures

 

These dentures replace several missing teeth, but not a full arch. This denture partially covers an edentulous area, which replaces the tooth and gum. The material is pink acrylic, which replaces the gum, and artificial acrylic or resin-based teeth. In the same way, this denture is removable, in order to clean it and have good oral hygiene.

 

Snap on dentures

 

These dentures are also known as implant dentures. Which is a combination of the conventional acrylic denture supported by gingival mucosa, and at the same time supported by dental implants. This prosthesis is also removable, what makes it different is that it is supported on the implants, in order to achieve greater stability and have better retention when using it.

 

Hybrid dentures

 

A hybrid denture is a combination between a removable implant-supported denture and a fixed bridge.

 

A hybrid denture is secured in place with fixed screws, screwing into each strategically placed implant. In this way, the dental specialist can remove it with the necessary instruments for its periodic maintenance.

Hybrid dentures can be made of different materials, based on hardness, esthetics, and longevity.
